Harvest Show

I got so caught up in watching the latest farm equipment clear a field and make hay, that this is the only photo I got, after it was all done.  The way they made haystacks look like city buildings was interesting, and from afar, they looked like castles.

This is my vinyl wicker, which I quite like, because it can be left outside and even get caught in the water sprinkler with no damage.

All is well here.

And what a beautiful painting, too!

Too, it is great you have shaded grouping of seating to watch the field.

Yes, it's interesting isn't it! I had one of those "straw castles" down the road from me yesterday. The farmer right across the road from us grows wheat as well and we can watch the the process of harvesting the wheat and then baling and stacking the straw from our front porch. In general I'm not a big fan of loud and stinky machinery but I have to admit that the new farm machines can do some pretty neat things.

My favourite time of year watching the hay cut 😊 .... used to love seeing the bales piled high in the barn ready to feed our horses all through winter xx
